At his residence, one mile southeast of Franklin, on Saturday,August 2, 1890, at 4am, John K. Kirchner, aged 57 years. Deceased leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his death, while hundreds of friends sympathize with them in their grief. The funeral occurred Sunday fornoon, the services being held at the German Evangelical church in Franklin, Rev. F. J. Buschmann officiating.
