Born August 20, 1928 in Detroit MI. The son of Stanley and Veronica Grzywa. He had two sisters Mildred and Dorothy.
After graduating from our Lady of Lourdes High School in River Rouge, He attended Detroit Institute of Technology and earned a pharmaceutical degree. While there he met his future wife Beverly Joyce Lukaszewski. He then went off to Korea to provide medicine for the soldiers, after returning from the war he then married Beverly in 1956, together they had four daughters Lori, Dana, Susan, and Mary Beth. Daniel later bought Trancick's Pharmacy and was the owner until his death.
