Clarence was the son of James Cook & Amarilla Chipman. He married Mary Belle Mathews 1891 Nov 2. They were the parents of Laurel, Bert, Guy, Ruby, Hazel Alice (Ernest Dillavou, L.G. Warren), Ethel, John, Iva (1907), Mina, & Doris Marie (1911).
Carroll Daily Herald - Jan 10, 1935 - Clarence William Cook, 73 years old, died at his home 7 miles northeast of Glidden yesterday afternoon after an illness of cancer for 3 months. Burial will be in the Dickson cemetery 5 miles north of Glidden.
Mr Cook was born in Guthrie county near Guthrie Center but had lived at his present home for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, 10 children, 3 brothers & 4 sisters.
