Funeral services for Bert E. Crofoot, 72, of Colville, retired letter carrier who'd lived in the Colville area 52 years, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Violette funeral home, Colville.
The Rev. Lorance Dossett of Steilacoom will officiate. Burial will be in Meyers Falls Cemetery, Kettle Falls.
Born in Correctionville, Iowa, August 24, 1884, Mr. Crofoot died Friday in a Spokane hospital after a brief illness. He had carried mail out of Kettle Falls into Ferry county for 28 years. He was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers' association and Woodmen of the World lodge.
Mr. Crofoot is survived by his wife, Ina, at the home; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Smith, Camden; Mrs. Mae Setzer, Colville, and Mrs. Florence Johnson, Mrs. Alice Lindsey and Mrs. Marjory Burse, all of Spokane; two sons, Earl and Reed Crofoot, both Colville; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
