Elmore A. "Ed" Henry, 70, of 863 East Leafland Street, died at 3:30 P.M. yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital where he had been a patient since last April.
He was born in Evansville, Indiana, December 3, 1874, the son of Henry and Mary Henry. He married Miss Nellie Amstepp in Decatur in 1905.
Besides his wife he leaves a foster son, Ralph, of Decatur and one daughter, Mrs. Sidney Erndin of Chicago. A brother, J.W. Henry, of Nashville, Tenn. and two nieces, Mrs. Louise Waltz and Mrs. Lulubelle Kiler both of Decatur.
The body has been taken to the Moran and Sons funeral home where friends may call after noon Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
