                        William Jackson

OAK HILL - William "Bill" Jackson, 69, of Oak Hill, died Tuesday at Oak Hill Hospital.

He was a retired employe of the State Road Commission at Oak Hill, a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Oak Hill and a native of Bolt.

Surviving: wife, Mable Ewing Jackson; son, William Van Jackson of Oak Hill; daughters, Mrs. Violet Mae Cook of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Dorothy Lee McCreery of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Ozal Lee Jackson of Oak Hill; sisters, Mrs. Virgie Morgan of Ravencliff, Mrs. Dorothy Dunbar of Alexandria, Ohio.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Freewill Baptist Church in Oak Hill with the Rev. Wiley Brooks and the Rev. Bill Mendefee officiating. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery at Mount Tabor.

Friends may call at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
