ELLA MAE SHUMATE JACKSON
Rites were held Friday for Mrs. Ella Mae Jackson, 66, who died at her home Thursday of heart ailment and complications. She had been ill several months. She was born at Bolt on May 11, 1872, to Mr. and Mrs. George Shumate.
Surviving are two sons, W. N. and Oval L. Jackson, of Beckley; a daughter, Mrs. B. F. Dunbar, of Marfork; four brothers, C. R. Shumate and N. B. Shumate, of Oak Hill; C. N. Shumate, of Lester, and R. J. Shumate of Beckley; three sisters, Mrs. Irvin Bailey, of Surveyor; Mrs. H. W. Clemons, of Bolt, and Mrs. E. L. Burleson, of Beckley, and seven grandchildren.
Burial was in Mount Tabor cemetery.
