An old gentleman named Mr. Green, who recently came from Pennsylvania, died at Monrovia Monday and was buried Wednesday. He was quite feeble, but not particularly sick, and his death quite sudden. He was using the vessel, and called for help and hardly had been placed on the bed until he expired. Mr. Green was the father of Mrs. Sharpless of Monrovia and Hiram Green of Nortonville. He was over 83 years old. Friends extend sympathy to the relatives.
