Funeral services were held
Saturday at 2:00 p. m. at the
Methodist Church for Mrs. Beulah
Kennedy, who died Thursday, May
21, at Bay City Mercy Hospital.
The Rev. Charles Dibley of St.
Charles and Rev. Floyd Porter of
Cass City officiated. She had been
ill health for several years.
Mrs. Kennedy was born December
16, 1891, in Evergreen Township,
the daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. John and Agnes Agar.
She married Mr. Francis Kennedy
December 11, 1912, in Evergreen
Township. Following their
marriage, they moved to the
Canadian Northwest, where they made
their home until coming to
this community in 1938. Mr. Kennedy
died October 23, 1947.
Mrs. Kennedy attended the Cass
City Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter,.
Mrs. Norman (Leone) Fritz of
Caro, two sons, Mr. Arthur S. Kennedy
of Caro and Mr. Kendall V.
Kennedy of Bay City, one brother
Mr. David Agar of Marlette, and
seven grandchildren. Three brothers
and one sister preceded her in
death.
Burial was in the family lot in
Elkland Cemetery.
