Neva Marie Chustz Stein, a resident of Baton Rouge, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at age 72. She was born in Lakeland on Oct. 26, 1938, to her parents, the late Charles F. Chustz, Sr. and Lillian LeBlanc Chustz. She was one of 11 children, five brothers and five sisters.

Neva is survived by her loving husband, Malcolm; her son and daughter-in-law, Malcolm, III and Jodi Little Stein; her grandchildren, Malcolm, IV, Justin and Alexandra.

She is also survived by two brothers, John Earl and Alfred Chustz, sister-in-laws Judy, Elsie and Nyla Jo Chustz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, George and Jimmy; and sisters, Florence, Ruby, Mabel, Rose Mary and Shirley.
