Bessie L. Minor, 75, of Mt. Morris, R. D. 1, died at 5 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 1965, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Her death was unexpected as she had only been ill one day.

She was born May 17, 1889, in Shannon Run, Perry Township, a daughter of the late Joseph K. and Mary Jane Delaney.

All of her life was spent in the Mt. Morris and Perry Township communities. She was a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church at Brock and a member of the WSCS of the church.

Her husband, Charles G. Minor, died in 1957.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maxine King, of Akron, Ohio; six grandchildren; Mrs. Lois Kozlowski, of Akron; Mrs. Virginia Wittman of Akron; Lloyd King, of Akron; James King, of Iowa; Ronald King of Mt. Morris, and John King, of Akron; and eight great[grandchildren.
