Ann Mary Kotecki, 94, of Ottawa, died Monday, March 11, at Ottawa Pavilion.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Philip D. Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Gladfelter Funeral Home and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Kotecki was born Nov. 18, 1907, in La Salle, to Stanley and Catherine (Malek) Pienczykowski. She married Andrew Henry Kotecki on Feb. 18, 1939, at St. Hyacinth Church in La Salle. He died March 10, 1981, in Ottawa.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Farm Bureau.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (Joan) Kotecki of Ottawa; a daughter, Mary Ann Fast of La Salle; four grandchildren, David Kotecki, Richard A. Fast, Perry Fast and Elizabeth Fast, all of Ottawa; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessica Fast; and a sister, Merceded Drancik of Peru. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Joseph and Chester Pienczykowski; and two sisters, Catherine and Helen Pienczykowski.
Pallbearers will be Richard and Jonathan Fast, David Kotecki, Harold "Jack" Fassett and Daniel Vernoy.
Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
