WEST WEBER - Eliza Dorothea Blanch Wagstaff, 83, died Thursday, March 12, 1992, at her home of cancer. She was born August 2, 1908 in West Weber, a daughter of Joseph and Laura May Etherington Blanch. She married Parley LeRoy Wagstaff on March 14, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a lifelong resident of West Weber and was educated in Weber County schools. She was a member of the West Weber LDS 3rd Ward. She had served in the Relief Society presidency and in various positions in the Primary, Mutual and Sunday School. She was a visiting teacher for over 50 years. She had served in various positions of Camp #34 of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had also served as chairman of the Old Folks Committee in West Weber.
Surviving are her husband of West Weber, two sons and two daughters, Duane L. Wagstaff and Brent W. Wagstaff, both of West Weber; Evelyn W. Prudie of Bountiful; LaNea Rawson of Warren; 16 grandchildren and 18 great - grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, John Ray Blanch , Ogden; James Donald Blanch, Burley, Idaho; Grant Etherington Blanch, Corvalis, Oregon.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the West Weber 3rd Ward Chapel, 900 South 4100 West, with Bishop Terry Hancock of the West Weber 3rd Ward officiating. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
