Mrs. Lieu Zettie Grimes, daughter of William James and Ann Eliza (Thomas)Osborne was born March 12 1887 at Hughesville Pettis Co., Mo. She passed away at Hardin County Memorial Hospital at Kountze, Hardin Co., Texas, Sept 24 at 2:45 P.M.1958. She married R.S.Grimes Dec 25 1910. To this union two children were born: a son Harlan A.Grimes of Richmond and one daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Dinkins of Sour Lake Texas. Mrs.Grimes'health became impaired two years before her death. Due to this she left Ashdown June 28 and went to make her home with her daughter at Sour Lake Texas. Mrs. Grimes was faith-ful member of the Methodist Church in Ashdown and attended regulary. she was a devoted wife and mother and friend to all who knew her. Never an unknid would of others passed her lips, to every trust bestowed upon her.Funeral Services were held friday afternoon at 2:30 P.M. She was laid to rest in Arden Cemetery under the direction of Philips Fruneral Home Sept 26 a 4:P.M in Hardin Co. Tx. The Rev. A.C. Carraway conducted the service. Her Pallbearers were Noble Daniel, Burl Foster, Marvin Thrash, Ben Wilson, Ed Stever and Audry Thrash. She leaves behind one son Harlan A. Grimes of Richmond and one Daughter Mrs.E.j. Dinkin of Sour Lake Texas; one brother William G. Osborne and one Sister Mrs. Bertha Alice (Osborne) wife of Willaim Delbert McFarland of Sedalia Mo. and four grandchildren. Her body was returned to Ashdown Ark.
