Moses Stoner, 83, a life time resident of Kosciusko county, expired at 6:45 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Greenstone, in Fort Wayne, after being confined to his bed for the last two weeks, suffering from apoplexy. Mr. Stoner had been subject to apoplectic strokes for the past four years.

Mr. Stoner was born at Orion. He made his home in Warsaw practically all his life. He was a builder and contractor by trade but retired from the business world about four years ago. He was a member of the Christian church as an elder in the church. Since the death of his wife, Amanda Stoner, a few years ago, Mr. Stoner had made his home with his children, and had been with his daughter in Fort Wayne for about a year.

Four daughters, Mrs. Ben Anderick and Mrs. Bud Godfrey, of this city, and Mrs. George Greenstone and Mrs. R.C. Hirsch, of Fort Wayne; one son, Frederick Stoner, and a brother, William Stoner, of south of Warsaw, survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Christian church with Rev. A.A. Millican officiating. Burial will be made in Oakwood cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Bibler funeral home until time of the funeral.
