Johanna C. (Kroon) Andringa, 98, Lincoln, died on January 7, 2011. Born January 28, 1912 in Holland, Neb. to Adrian and Tillie Kroon. Widow of Gerrit Andringa to whom she had been married for 75 years. She was a kind, caring homemaker who loved all of her 131 extended family members and their spouses. She especially loved crocheting useful items and serving others in her church and community. Johanna was a woman of faith and a lifetime active member of the Reformed Church of America.

Johanna is survived by her four children and their spouses: Evelyn and Harold Huenink, Marlene and Wes Bouwens, Dwaine and Phyllis Andringa (Colorado), and Paul and Carol Andringa. She was additionally blessed with 17 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 31 great great grandchildren. Other survivors include brother, Daniel Kroon, (Arizona) and sister, Mildred Didericksen (Washington). Preceded in death by parents, husband, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 great great grandson.

Celebration of Life 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Hope Community Church, 4700 S. Folsom, Lincoln. Burial, Holland Cemetery. Visitation Monday, January 10, with family greeting friends from 4-7 p.m. Memorials to: Hope Community Church or Tabitha Health Care.
