Iva A. Lee McQuay Patterson, 96, of Valley Road, Waverly, Ohio died 7:25 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, with Rev. Willard Kellough officiating. Burial will follow in Denver Cemetery, Waverly, Ross County, Ohio. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday. She was born December 15, 1911, in Waverly, Denver community, Ross County, Ohio, to the late John Israel Lee and Ola Matilda (White) Lee.
On March 30, 1931, Iva was united in marriage to Edgar McQuay who died on February 3, 1958. On November 12, 1968, she married Rev. James S. Patterson, who preceded her in death on August 19, 1991.
Surviving are one son, three daughters, one stepson: one stepdaughter, 26 grandchildren; 44 great- grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two daughters, Marilyn Nunnery and Germaine McQuay; two sons, Ronald Wilbur McQuay and Edgar Franklin McQuay; four brothers, Foster, Emmitt, Charles Raymond and Howard Lee and five sisters, Pearl Lee, Lenora Lee, Opal Williams, Edna Cochenour and Evelyn Dawson.
Iva was a homemaker and a member of Shady Glen Christian Union Church.
