Sanger-Doris Dean Clampitt, 64, of Sanger died Monday, April 3, 2000, at her home.
Service will be 3:30 pm Wednesday, April 5, in First Baptist Church of Sanger with Emmitt Clampitt and David Isbell officiating. Burial will be in Sanger Cemetery.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton from 7 to 8 tonight for visitation.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Partain, David Rice, Jamy Clark, Daniel Bell, Travis Partain, Kenneth Clampitt, Tommy Jones and Robert Ray Norris.
Mrs. Clampitt was born March 3, 1936, in Sanger to Lonnie Pennington and Beulah Huff Pennington and attended Sanger public schools.
She married Willie Lee "Billie" Clampitt, July 24, 1954, in Sanger.
Mrs. Clampitt was a member of First Baptist Church of Sanger and retired from Denton Independent School District.
Survivors include her husband of Sanger; son, Mike Clampitt of Wylie; five sisters, Willie Mae Conley, Estalene Norris and Mildred Metoyer, all of Sanger, Clara Tipton of Forestburg and Dorothy Bartel of Pilot Point; brother, Lonnie Pennington of Sanger; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A daughter, Wanda Clampitt Rice and a brother, Roger Pennington, are deceased.
