Funeral services for Mrs. Nola V. Busby, 89, will be 10 AM Saturday January 8, 2010 at the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dowden and Rev. James Busby officiating. Interment will follow at Crowville Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Busby was born on October 5, 1921 in Pelahatchie, Mississippi and passed from this life on Wednesday January 5, 2011 at Charlyn Nursing Center. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church Crowville and the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents James Otis and Alma Marshall Richardson, husband Vester Busby, a daughter Barbara Ann Busby and two great grandsons. She was last survivor of six children.
Survivors include her children Jean Monroe and husband Charles, Judy Fitzgerald, Ronnie Busby and wife Linda, Connie Riggan, James Busby and wife Patty all of Crowville; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call for visitation on Friday 5pm until 8pm.
