Someone at the Wise County Museum located an obituary from 1905

"Chico: "Brother Trammell of Alvord, died the 2nd and was brought to Chico the 3rd after having funeral services in the M.E. church..... The remains were interred in the Chico Cemetery"

The M.E. stands for Methodist Episcopal Church. James Riley Trammell was a Reverend of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
