Richard A. 'Dick' Caracciolo, 73, Mariner Road, Patton, died Thurs., Jan. 13, 2011 at home. He was born in Altoona to Vincent & Marietta J. (Carrieri) Caracciolo. He married Marianne Figliorenzo in 1960. Survived by wife; daughters: Annette DeVore & husband, Robert, of Patton and Cathy Caracciolo & husband, Dave Hollen, of Fallentimber; son, Steve & wife, Tammy, of Dysart; stepson, Tyler; grandchildren: Matthew, Blake, Cody, Heather and Tiffany; gr. grandchildren: Gavin, Evan and Ethan; and sisters: Carmella Lidwell, of Altoona and Donna Sankey, of Patton. Richard was a 1956 graduate of Altoona High School. He was a pressman at Butterick Co. Inc. with 28 years of service and union president. He was a past owner of Pirates Cove with 26 years of service and a former owner of Captain's Quarters Trailer Park. He was the owner of Glendale Boat Sales and operator of the Prince Gallitzin Marina. Richard enjoyed his wood shop and fishing. Santella Funeral Home, Altoona. Interment, St. Augustine Cemetery.
