Nellie R. Stonerook, 94, Loysburg, died Tues., Jan. 11, 2011. She was the daughter of Charles & Caroline (Hixon) Conner. She married Richard L. Stonerook on Dec. 28, 1935, in Cumberland, MD and he died Aug. 8, 1972. Survived by 6 daughters: Glenna Dillen and Paula Langenbacher (Dan), both of Bellwood; Nancy Miller of Hamburg, NY; Carol Zimmerman (Gary) of Roaring Spring; Joyce Bush (Ken) of Martinsburg and Susan Stonerook of Loysburg; 2 sons: Richard E. (Pat) of Bechtelsville and David F. (Marty) of Roaring Spring; 31 grandchildren; 71 gr. grandchildren and 14 gr. gr. grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 children: Ken Stonerook, Janet Detwiler and Deb Weber; 3 sons in-law: Tex Dillen, Jack Miller and Larry Weber; and grandson, Preston Stonerook. Nellie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Woodbury and the NBC Senior Citizens Club. She retired as a cook from New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. after 25 years and enjoyed gardening. Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury. Interment, Replogle Cemetery.
