Bob was raised in St. George,Utah and was the 4th of 6 sons born to William and Nellie Marie Stephens Brooks. He served a military career in the National Guard. He married Florence Mary Milbauer on April 1, 1953. They had two children, Robert William and Mary Catherine. He loved his wife and family dearly. He passed away in Kentucky in 2005 and his ashes were interned in the St. George Cemetery on March 11, 2006.
