John H. Barker, 59, died from complications of three strokes. He was born July 11, 1944.
He grew up around Humboldt and DuBois. After high school, he married Connie Anderson. To this union four children were born. He worked at Warnke's Grocery after they were married, then later moved to Falls City and worked at Safeway Grocery as a meat cutter. After a few years they moved to Arizona where he continued to work at Safeway Grocery until he retired. Later he and Connie divorced. He loved working outside with his flowers, ducks and chickens.
