Brent A. Phillips, 25, of Springfield died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Feb. 9, 1977, in Springfield, the son of John and Candy Finn Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a cook for the Cottage Cafe in Jacksonville and for Little Italy's Pizza in Springfield. Survivors: companion, Lori Pascal of Jacksonville; parents, Candy (husband, Dave) Rapp, George Moore, all of Springfield, and John Phillips of California; a son, Brent A. Phillips of Springfield; two daughters, Samantha J. and Heather B. Phillips, both of Springfield; a brother, Brock W. (wife, Sydonia) Phillips of Springfield; a sister, Brandy A. Phillips-Lowe of Springfield; grandparents, John and Shirley Page of Springfield; a niece; and two nephews. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Burial: Rochester Cemetery.
