Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. for Lola Miller Neely, 80, 930 N. Canal St., at the First Baptist Church. The Reverend Bob Bacon was to officiate at the service. Interment was to be in Carlsbad Cemetery. Pallbearers were: David Miller, Russell Miller, Paul Miller, David Neely, Vern Neely and Michael Rosenberg.

She died May 24, 1986, at her home.

She was born February 13, 1906, in Tom Greene County, Texas. She came to Carlsbad in 1922. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Women's Missionary Union and helped with the Sunday school work. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club, the Women's Club and the Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Rebekkah Lodge, Carlsbad.

She is survived by one son, W.O. Miller, Carlsbad; a step-son, Vernon Neely, Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Nadine Rosenberg, Carlsbad; a step-daughter, Frankie Mae West, Albuquerque; three brothers, Tootie Schnaubert, Pete Schnaubert and Tom Schnaubert, all of Hobbs; two sisters, Edna Hickoz, Pecos, Texas, and Johnie V. Fletcher, Loving.

She had 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband Frank Davis Neely preceded her in death March 28, 1979.

Memorials may be made to the Carlsbad Foundation for Hospice.
