Waymond P. Plemons, 81, of Wiggins, Mississippi, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 15, at Word Alive Revival Center with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 14, at the Center. Burial will be at Wiggins Cemetery.
Waymond Priston was born in Crawford, Texas, to the late Loy Plemons and Wadie B. Hale Plemons. He was a member of Word Alive Revival Center. Waymond served in the U.S. Navy, and for 32 years, was a Maintenance Supervisor for Success Motivation Industries.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Ann Mevis and her husband, David.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Ruth Plemons, of Wiggins, MS;, sons: Bruce Dewayne Plemons and wife, Crystal, of Ft. Worth, Waymond Preston Plemons and wife, JaLynda, of Waco, and William Wade Plemons and wife, Julie, of Wiggins, MS; daughters, Debbie June Knox and Donna Ruth Ten Eyck, both of Wiggins, MS; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
