COOPER - Linda Long, 63, of Mesquite passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004, in Mesquite. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, May 31, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Regan officiating. Burial will follow in North Hopkins Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home (Cooper, TX).
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born on June 19, 1940, in Charleston, the daughter of Doyle and Dorothy Bea "Lile" Acker. She was a licensed vocational nurse.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claty Acker and Louis Acker.
She is survived by a son, Steven Long of Mesquite; a brother, Rex Acker of Mesquite; a sister, Mary Jo Johns of Cooper; and an aunt, Freddie Mills, of Sulphur Springs.
