10,2000,at The Homestead at Hickory View,Washington.
Mrs. Unnerstall,daughter of the late Roy Boston and wife
Jeannette,nee Lester,was born March 3,1924,at Washington.
She received her education at Washington puplic Schools.
On June 19,1944,she was united in marriage to Marvin "Sparky" Unnerstall at Crewe,Virginia.The couple was blessed with two sons.
Mrs. Unnerstall was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and Elks Auxiliary,Washington.
In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her
husband,Sparky Unnerstall,November 10,1999;by two
brothers,James and Roy Boston,and by one sister,Betty Echeveste.
She is survived by two sons,Terry Unnerstall and wife Donna,and Tom Unnerstall and wife Kathy,all of Washington;
one brother,Frank Boston and wife Barb,California;three sisters,Jane Groene and husband Gene,St. Louis,and Billy Martin and Georgia May Kruegger both of Las Vegas;six
grandchildren,Scott,Jason,Tricia,Matthew,Katie and Michael;two great-grandchild,Christopher and Sydney;three
brothers-in-law,Elmer Unnerstall and wife Julie,and Harold
Unnerstall and wife Lou Ann,all of Washington,and Jim Unnerstall and wife Teresa,Chicago,Illinois;one sister-in-law,Rita Loethum and husband Leonard,Jefferson City;
nieces;nephews;cousins;other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday,Martch 13,at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church,Washington,with Rev. Robert Heimos officiating.Interment was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery,Washington.
The Unnerstall family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home,Washington.
