Opossum Rock Church - Mrs. Emmily Thompson, wife of F. M. Thompson, born June 19, 1868, departed this life December 6th, 1942, age 74 years. She professed a hope in Jesus in 1928 and lived a faithful Christian life until the end. She leaves 5 boys and 3 girls to mourn her absence and she had many friends and was a loving mother to all her children and she leaves a host of grandchildren. May the life she lived, the deeds she did be an inspiration to those she left behind to follow her to Glory land.
