OBITUARY - DEATH OF LORAIN BUSINESS WOMAN - Mrs. W.W. Freeland. 43, a lifelong resident of Lorain county, a resident of Lorain city for the last eight years, and a woman active in business circles died at 9:30 Saturday morning at her home. Death followed an illness (cancer) of many months. In August Mrs. Freeland was operated upon at St. Joseph's hospital and since the operation had failed rapidly. Her condition had been critical for several days.
Mrs. Freeland was an active business woman, aiding her husband in the management of their bakery at 122 West 22 street. She was formerly The husband and one child, Henry David Freeland, aged 28 months, are the surviving members of the immediate family.
Her mother Mrs. Margaret Neufer lives at Murray Ridge, Lorain county, There are 10 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth Nieding of Ridgeville, Mrs. Margaret Nieding of the Town Line road; Andrew Neufer, of North Eaton; Peter Neufer, of Elyria, Mrs. Mary Diedrich of Elyria, Mrs. Anna Nieding of Murray Ridge; Christopher and Henry Neufer of Elyria, Mrs. Libby Ensminger, of Cleveland and John Neufer of Murray Ridge.
Funeral Services were held at the late residence at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. P.N. Bennett, pastor of the First Congregational church officiating. Burial was made in Ridgelawn cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
