Helen P. Cruse, 88, Marion, died at 1:08 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 in Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana. She was born in Oldham County, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Temple (Ford) Spillman. She married Reuben L. Cruse on July 4, 1948. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1995.
Helen was previously employed as a payroll clerk at Bell Fibre and she and her husband owned a Ben Franklin Store in Marion. She was a former member of Altrusa and B.P.W. Helen also enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Cruse Natoli, Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Sarah C. (Edward) Roberts, Waverly, Ohio, Maribeth F. Natoli, Nashville, Tennessee; great-grandchild, Mallory C. Roberts.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben L. Cruse.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Indiana with Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
