Mr. Loyd C. Barrett, of Atlanta, died June 18, 1987. He died Thursday at Dekalb General Hospital after a short illness. He was 62. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Carolyn Kelley; daughter, Mrs. Barbara B. Wernli; sons, Mr. Richard L. Barrett and Mr. William D. Barrett and Mr. Steven Z. Barrett; brother, Mr. N. R. Barrett; sister, Mrs. Ruby Ross; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mr. Barrett was a retired lift operator for Gordon Transportation. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Al H. Craft will officiate. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
