On Dec 1, 1928 Bruce married Edna S. Keebaugh and they had 3 children; Earl, who married Mary Mellott; Boyd, who married Hazel Akers; and Hazel, who married Walter Hess. They had a farm at Sipes Mills that bordered the Ebenezer Cemetery where they are buried. The part of the cemetery of their burial plot was donated by them.

Bruce Henry Clevenger, 78, off Needmore, RD 1, died at 6;35 P.M. Thursday, December 21, 1978, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg. He had been in failing health for more that one year.
Born June 5, 1900, at Pleasant Ridge, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Jennie (Clevenger) Truax. On December 1, 1928 he married the former Edna Keebaugh.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Earl W. and Boyd C. Clevenger, both of Needmore, RD 1; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-gradchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter. A daughter preceded him in death.
Mr. Clevenger, a farmer, was of the Methodist faith.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 26, at 2;00 P.M. at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church near Needmore.
