Tucker attended Ingleside school and was raised near Olney.
He married Pauline Roper at Marshall on 12 February 1933.
He had lived in Conroe, Lubbock and Snyder about 18 years where he had been in the construction business the past few years.
Survived by his wife; two sons - Claude Tucker, Jr. of Mineral Wells and Don Tucker of Snyder; two sisters- Mrs. R.C. Parish of Olney and Jean Druke of Dumas; two brothers - Clyde Tucker of Lubbock and Leroy Tucker of Graham; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
