Harold Keith Roberts, 42, Columbus, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Mr. Roberts was a carpenter and professional painter for 25 years. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars and attending auctions and classic car shows.

He attended Whosoever Will Church and loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and family as well as going on rides through the country.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Jamestown, Tenn.

Memorials may be made to Harold Keith Roberts Memorial Fund through the funeral home.

Born in Columbus on July 29, 1967, Mr. Roberts was the son of the late Donald K. and Wanda M. Burris Roberts. He married Lisa Marie Cravens on March 7, 2005.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Charles Roberts of North Vernon, Kenny Burton of Columbus, Anthony Roberts of Columbus, Jamie Brown of Tennessee and Zachariah Erwin of Madison; daughters, Jessica Roberts of Rugby, Jennifer Roberts of Columbus and Savannah Brown of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Randall Roberts of Columbus; and sisters, Donita Koppers of Columbus, Doris (Jerry) Burton of Newbern, Pamela J. Roberts of North Vernon and Rebecca Roberts of Madison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Louann and Spud Burris and Doris and Melvin Roberts; his father-in-law, Denver Colwell (deceased Jan. 17, 2010); and brothers, Kenneth Roberts, Tony Roberts and Edgar Leo Roberts.
