Our beloved brother, Bruce W. Reeves, age 60, passed away on January 12, 2011. He was born on July 31, 1950 in Cedar City, Utah to Waldo Reeves and Irene Woolsey Reeves. Bruce was raised in Kanarraville, Utah and lived in Kanarraville, Cedar City and Radcliff, Kentucky. Bruce attended Kanarra Elementary School, Cedar Jr. High School and Cedar High School in Cedar City, Utah. He attended Elizabeth town College in Kentucky as well as Cumberland Community College. Bruce served in the United States Army for over 15 years, serving in Germany, Turkey, Viet Nam, Hawaii and at Fort Knox Kentucky. Bruce received two Purple Hearts in Viet Nam.
Bruce is survived by his brother W. Clayton Reeves of Kanarraville, and sister Norma (Donald) Houser of Cedar City. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Reeves.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Kanarraville LDS Ward Chapel. A viewing will take place prior to the service on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10:00 - 10:45 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Kanarraville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
