Lillian McKinnis, widow of Charles A. McKinnis, owned the McKinnis Apartments and for five years operated an antique shop. She died Sunday, at age 83, while visiting her daughter in Havre, Montana.

Born in Spirit Lake, Iowa, a daughter of Robert Lemual Moore, she lived in Nebraska, Lusk,Wyoming,and Billings, then settled in Roundup in 1930, where she was married in 1931. Her husband died in 1969.

Survivros include a son, Charles McKinnis Jr., of Roundup; a daughter, Mrs. W.R. (Lorraine) Martin of Havre, a brother, Dewey Moore of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in the Custer Battlefield National Cemetery, with Wier Funeral Home of Roundup in charge.
