POWELL FUNERAL SET FOR TODAY
William F. Powell, 84, of 4428 Northeast 112th avenue, retired pioneer farmer who died yesterday, will be buried today in Central Grove cemetery, Sandy boulevard and 112d avenue, near the place of his birth. Services will precede at Holman & Lutz Colonial mortuary. Mr. Powell was born November 17, 1853, on the present site of Inverness golf course, and spent the greater part of his life there, Mrs. Powell, the former Laura May Legge, whom he married in 1882, died May 7, 1934. With his family he removed from the farm to his recent home in 1908. Surviving are a son John, a brother, S.D. Powell, two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Stott and Mrs. Rose Brandes, and two grandchildren.
