Funeral services for Gladys Lorene Mills, 89, of Porter, OK, will be held at 10:00 a.m. January 15, 2011 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Brown Jr. officiating. Pallbearers are John Mills, Robert Mills, Gary Helsley, Mike Sullivan, David Stephenson and Ed Burk. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Gladys Lorene Mills was born April 5, 1921 in Massard, AR, the daughter of Ab and Elsie Smith and died January 12, 2011 in Muskogee, OK. She married John Alex Mills July 17, 1938 in Sallisaw, OK. She was a homemaker. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John in 1977, son, Alfred and daughters, Elsie Louise, Dora Mae Mills, grandchildren, Ann Helsley, Tony Helsley, four brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son, Clarence Mills and wife, Donna of Oktaha, OK; two daughters, Gladys Burn of Tulsa, OK, Joyce Williams and husband Clayton of Porter, OK; two sisters, Dorothy Walker of AR, Barbara Pruett of CA; one brother, Bud Smith of AR; fifteen grandchildren, Victor Mills, Robert Mills, John Mills, Carol Williams, Mitchell Mills, Gary Helsley, Rhonda Sullivan, Jan Stephenson, Tim Williams, Tom Williams, Darlene Bailey, Ed Burk, Christy Davis, Maryann Rose; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
