Mrs. Ruby Dant, age 79, of Rt. 2, Calhoun, died at 4:45am Thuresday, July 17, 1980 at Our Lady of Merce Hospital, Owensboro, Born Jan 6 1901, in McLean Co., She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband J.E. Dant; three daughters: Mary Myrtle Thompson of Rt 2, Calhoun, Mary Ella Farmer of Owensboro, and Patty Lou Payne of Curdsville, Ky.; four sons: JW Dant, Marvin W Dant, Carroll W Dant, all of Rt 2 Calhoun, and LV Dant of Beech Grove; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs Opal Dant of Rt 2 Calhoun.
Funeral services 10 am Saturday from St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with the Rev Father Robert Willett, pastor, officiating. Burial was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in St. Joseph. Prayers were said at 7pm Friday at Muster Funeral Home, Calhoun.
