Glen B. Taylor
1914 - 2002
Glen B. Taylor, 87, a retired resident field procurement agent for the aircraft industry, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Arlington.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Arlington. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Arlington Funeral Home.
Glen retired from McDonald Douglas Aircraft in 1974. He was a member of the First Christian Church, where he served as an elder and elder emeritus.
Glen was also an Eagle Scout and remained active with the Boy Scouts for over 25 years. He participated in the Friendship Camping Club and was also an avid golfer.
Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Katherine H. Taylor of Arlington; sons, Glen D. Taylor and wife, Carla of Huntsville, Ala., John H. Taylor and wife, Willow of Arlington; daughter, Virginia Joseph and husband, Laverene of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
