She had served three terms on the Democratic Town Committee in West Springfield.
She was also worked for 46 years as a poll worker in Precinct One in West Springfield and helped to organize Young Democrat organizations in the area.
A lifelong resident of West Springfield, she was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church.
She leaves her husband, Charles A. Wespiser, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday morning at the Curran-Jones West Springfield Funeral Home and in the church with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Springfield. Calling hours will be Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church organ fund, Main Street, West Springfield 01089.
