PACOLET, May 8 -
Funeral services for Clough Mabry, 67, well known Pacolet Mills resident were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Pacolet Mills Baptist Church by the Rev. W.L. Tate and the Rev. Roy W. Wilkes. Interment was made in the White Rose cemetery.
Active pallbearers were D.W. Williams, F.M. Mason, Frank Harold, B.S. Thomas, W.T. Kirby and Glenn Wells.
Mr. Mabry was born in Cherokee county, the son of Frank Jackie Mabry, and has made his home in the mill village for the past 38 years. He was a member of the Baptist church and a member of Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Thackston Mabry, and the following children: Mrs. Bill Harrol, Pacolet Mills; Mrs. J.W. McCraw, Pacolet Mills; Mrs. Jessie Crossley, Glendale; Mrs. F.H. Humble of Greensboro, N.C.; Deward Mabry, Ivan Mabry, Pacolet Mills; Claude Mabry, Shelby, N.C.; Mrs. J.W. Gevige, Lenoir, N.C.
