Lillian Burrell, 79, of Sylva, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Harris Regional Hospital. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in the chapel of Melton Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Burrell officiating.
Burial was in Parris Cemetery.
She was a daughter of the late Will and Ethel Cochran Crisp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Crisp; and one sister, Jackie Dillard.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Alvin Burrell; one daughter, Jennifer Morgan of Dillsboro; three sons, Donnie, Johnny and Tommy Burrell, all of Sylva; two sisters, Shirley Ashe of Michigan and Willa Mae Queen of Sylva; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
