Mr. Ivey Franklin “Frank” Cook, Jr., age 77, of Williamson passed away April 19, 2020. He was born in Augusta, son of the late Ivey Franklin Cook, Sr. and Lorene Paradise Cook. He owned and operated Cook Ice Company in Sandersville for many years. Mr. Cook enjoyed gardening, deep sea fishing in Florida and bird watching.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Martin Cook, and his brother Virgil Cook.Survivors include: his children, Pam Flynt (Michael) of Williamson and Jeff Cook of Perry; grandchildren, Crissy Lawrence (Allen) of Bonaire and Michaela Flynt of Williamson; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Lawrence of Bonaire and Raegan Lawrence of Bonaire; and sister and brother, Martha Smith (Tom) of Carrollton and Mike Cook (Sheila) of Huntsville, AL.A family graveside service will be held at Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.This is a courtesy announcement of May & Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville.[Bio courtesy of the May & Smith Funeral Directors website, April 21, 2020.]
