FRANCIS M. SHRIVER

Francis M. Shriver, 46, of Cameron Star Route, Waynesburg, died at his home at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1956, after an illness of six years. Previous to his illness he had been employed at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Corporation.

Born on April 26, 1910, in Center Township, he was a son of Attie and Rozella Hartley Shriver, deceased. He spent most of his life in Center Township.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Loar, whom he married April 26, 1945; two brothers, Ephraim of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, and Oren of Millersburg, Ohio; and a sister, Anna of Waynesburg, R. D. 5. Two sisters are deceased.

He was a graduate of the Center Township High School and attended Fairmont, W. Va. Business College. He served in World War II with the United States Air Force in Tunesia and on the Italian front. He was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church.
