BILL BAGWELL DIES LAST
THURS.; BURIAL FRIDAY
James William (Bill) Bagwell, 52, died at his home on Bruce, Miss., Route 1, last Thursday. A veteran of World War 11, he had been in poor health for a number of years. Born in Calhoun County, Miss. March 30, 1912, he had spent his entire life in this section.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, the V F W and American Legion. He was a retired farmer.
Services were held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at 2:30 Friday with Rev. John Couch and Rev. E. D. Bollinger officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, near Bruce, Miss., Calhoun County with Cook Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Purvis Bagwell, Charlie Bagwell, Edwin Bagwell, Elmo Smith, Wade Bryant and James Kindall.
Mr. Bagwell leaves his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bagwell, Bruce, Miss.; two brothers, Edward Earl Bagwell, Bruce, Miss. and Wilburn Bagwell, Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Baker, Banner, Miss.; Mrs. Wilma Addington, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Joe Reaves, Attanta, Georgia.
