Agnes C. Hagen, 73, 214 E. Cedar died Saturday, Dec. 7, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. Revs. James W. Armstrong and Waldemar Anderson will officiate, and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
One of seven children of Henry and Josephine (Olson) Hanson, she was born Dec. 11, 1911, in Everts Township. She attended rural school and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1931.
She worked in Minneapolis until her marriage to Gordon Hagen on Nov. 20, 1937, at First Lutheran Church, Battle Lake. She then worked at Park Region Bakery until retiring in the late 1960s. She and her husband spent their retirement years traveling.
A member of Zion Lutheran Church, she taught Sunday school for more than 25 years and was a member of its Ladies Aide.
Survivors include her husband Gordon; two sisters, Alice Stewart of Fergus Falls and Jean Reindel of Seattle, Wash.; and three brothers, Oliver Hanson of Crabtree Ore., Robert Hanson of Vergas and Theron Hanson of Fargo.
Visitation will be all day Thursday until 9 p.m. at Glende-Johnson-Nelson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and resume at the church one hour prior to services Friday.
