Rita Ann Ridgway Arnold, 80, of Carlisle passed away at 10:35 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes. Rita, was born September 26, 1930 in Carlisle to Rollie Blann and Fidelis Owens Blann. She was a member of the Shaker Prairie Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Bill Ridgway, her second husband Randy Arnold, one daughter Cathy Ridgway, her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons John (and Peggy) Ridgway and Randy Ridgway all of Carlisle, two daughters Johnetta (and Larry) Crynes, Sullivan and Pam (and Mike) Griggs, Decatur, three brothers Bill (and Patty)Blann, Brownsburg, Harold (and Mary) Blann, Niles, MI and Jack Blann, Oaktown, four sisters Betty Blann, Vincennes, Kay Gilham, Sullivan, Sue Cox, TX and Mary Jane Kistner, Sullivan, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Holmes Memorial Chapel, Sullivan with Rev. Bill Burress officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Carlisle. Visitation is 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday.
